About the event
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
On our journey through ever-growing Mental Health, Awareness, and Self-Compassion, our concept of itimacy journeys with us. Sexual Trauma can be caused by any type of consentual or non-consentual sexual experience. This trauma has the potential to effect someone's entire life. Issues may inclue negative body image, PTSD, flashbacks, poor sexual health, lowered sense of self worth, and more. All of these lead to poor intimacy health.
This conversation may be the catalyst to healthy intimacy for some and continuing self-care for others.
- How do I reclaim Intimacy after sexual trauma?
- How do I define Intimacy for myself?
- How do I reintroduce Intimacy into my life?
